BUBBLE PLAY DATE

In honor of the fact that we are learning about chemistry and physics this year in co-op...we're going to play with bubbles!  Bubbles have so many fascinating features to them - let's play and learn!

We will be blowing bubbles, making giant bubbles, painting with bubbles, and more!  Wear play clothes, and plan to get messy!  Cold drinks will be provided for free.

GROW EVENT

Our next GROW homeschool workshop will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at Grace Point Baptist Church in KCMO.

$15 for Members/$25 for everyone else including supplies and snacks

Let’s make welcome signs together and talk about all the ways the idea of “welcome” is necessary in our lives.

Our days as homeschooling mothers can be filled with things for everyone else in our family, but it’s important that we do things for ourselves that enable us to be healthy and whole!

Do we welcome friendships into our lives and schedules? God created us to live in relationship with one another, and maintaining friendships during the busy years of motherhood isn’t just important, IT’S IMPERATIVE!

We’re going to talk about some of the easy things we can do with our friends to enrich our friendships in a way that will also bring us into a greater depth with Jesus. Friendships that are healthy include joy – something that we build when we share enjoyable activities.

During this experience, we will learn a new skill of making wood signs together, eat delicious food, share our hearts with one another, and walk away feeling refreshed and closer to Jesus. There will be an assortment of sign shapes and fonts available to choose from when you arrive.

As we endeavor to build a stronger homeschool community on the Missouri side, feel free to come alone and make a new friend or come together with some friends you’ve already made!

All supplies for the activity are included in your fee, along with a delicious spread of food and drink.
Limited to 24 moms.
